One of the best things I have done with the last few litters, is make playing with a metal bowl-not only a highly motivating game of tug or retrieve, but also immediately desensitizes the pups to the sound of crashing, tossed metal as it flies over their heads, or multiples get played with, like hockey pucks. It is also an incredibly useful skill-to be able to send a dog, into the back of a crate or under a hard to reach place, to retrieve a metal bowl. Of course, that also means that spoons, whisks, ladles & all things metal gain value as "toys"...but when I am missing a spoon off the counter, I just look on one of the dog beds and easy to spot :)
So, on their First Birthday-Happy, Happy Birthday to all the Wild, Crazy, Loud, Talented, Sweet, Brilliant (have to add all the good stuff too or some get upset *) Ain't No Mountain High Enough Pups!!!! The thrill ride is just beginning....hang onto your hats!!!! Or in the words of Betty Davis in the Classic movie All About Eve...."Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy night" (ride)...but a fun & exciting one!!! Should have called them "the "Bring It On!" Litter!!
The Wall Street Journal thinks so too!!!
Can 2012 be any worse than 2011 for the Economy, National Debt Rating & Real Estate...I hope not!!!!! I need to sell more houses, to support my dog habit!!!! Help!!!! :) So fasten your seatbelts and hang on!! The bumpy ride is well worth it.
Yes....I use many !!!!'s, sorry about that.
