A place where dogs rule! Life in NH, agility, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Shetland sheep and dog sports training in general...are what we are about. Sometimes we wax poetic, but basically it is all about the critters and living a natural, green friendly life.

Scream! @ 10 wks Cik/Cap
The BOy'z first official Training Session so decided to start working on Cik/Cap...other than little skills we are working on, this is the longest time really "trained". Total session, edited out empty parts, 7 minutes. Long time for so much focus in a baby pup, ended while he was still fully engaged and wanted more.
Love, love, love Silvia Trkman's brilliance for creating this simple exercise-which I did with Ggrail and Maze as a baby and then C'ura & Quechee. All , have very nice tight turns, when requested, know how to use their rears to push off and be in turn, already. I really think if I can figure out where to be able to practice, would love to do one of ST's foundation classes with the little man...maybe when the weather gets more dependable.
Warmed up with Sit/Wait...he already holds position while I move around, smarty pants!! Also, doing some Bang! Game plank work, working on retrieving skills with tug reward, Two toy game-one "alive" one "dead" and then switching-so he learns to leave the "dead" one, for invite to "live" one...settling/handling when in drive, front feet up on bowl for perch work-moving back feet around circle while keeping front feet up, recalls with three cookie game...and can't think of what else. At 10 weeks, so much fun!!!
