Scream! Just for Tricks

Winter has arrived, with a take no prisoners, no mercy chill... :( It is cold, no actually it is Bone-chillin', miserably...hard to do much of anything outside, cold!  Pups' feet freezing quickly, even though they think they want to stay out in it. -0F this AM....now a balmy 5.7F-ugghhhh!!!

So, when it is too cold to do much outdoors, I look for inspiration in stuff, to do indoors. The tricks videos that I have posted over the years & more recently from Silvia Trkman (ever wonder why her last name is such???? I have *)..anyway, I find inspiration in joy, which watching her train her dogs, is I think-joyful. We draw energy to us, by the energy we put out there-and watching many of the ST's students online class videos, joy is infectious!!!

ST shares her joy so freely, not always putting a pricetag on it, like so many trainers at her level. I remember watching one of her videos, maybe 5 years ago? teaching a handstand and was pretty sure, that I would never be able to do that. She also brings positive reinforcement training, to places where it may not exist. It is funny, so few knew of her just a few years ago, now she has been discovered by so many!! It is great to see someone receive the recognition they deserve, for their brilliance in training and who in turn possesses an ability, to inspire others to find their own.

Scream! is already a very operant little man-pup! Very keen to learn new stuff and make the game continue, or the reward to appear. Some of the things we have been working on for balance and learning to stretch, know where his back feet are, on video above. He also has started a lie down on mat behavior, to pull in for modified running contacts, if I choose to do so. Think he needs to do more corework, for his puppy belly :)...all in good time!
