Loss+Hope=Future

Some days you are the bird, some days you are the branch. Some days you are both.

I lost one of my dogs quite unexpectedly this month, my heart is so sad. If you believe in spirit and the energy of spirit, my hope is always that that spirit I loved, will come back to me again. Maybe it is a device we use to comfort ourselves, after loss. Who knows. Have you ever seen God? Do you believe in him/her? Does it matter if you can prove the existence of God, or spirit, or the afterlife? Or ghosts, or reincarnation, or.....

Haven't you ever met someone, and had an instant connection (or opposite), or knew you had met them before, maybe not in this lifetime...but sometime, somewhere. I rest my case.

Where there is loss, there is also future as life goes on. As you get older, you suffer loss more frequently, those are the odds. We all have jobs, lives, responsibilities, plans, hope, dreams....in the midst of extreme sadness, I needed to work out new details for a long planned litter.  Something positive to also focus on. Lots of people were waiting to hear about the pups and possibilities, a responsibility there. Winter hit here early, changed some plans. But, we have a plan!

Teg will hopefully be expecting pups in early February 2019. Timing may have been a bit early for the "nuptuals" as she let her inner Elf be known and was insulted by the whole thing. But, I expect these pups to be pretty special! She is such a solid dog, impish, serious, silly, strong-minded and just easy in so many ways. There will be lots of photos and what a great thing to look forward to, in the bleak of Mid-Winter!? Pupppieeeeesss!!!!!
