The BOYS....

ZINC ~Talisman Brimstone, ISD, SSS, IND, SSN, BID, SSB, GM, AAD, AD, SG, SJ, AG, NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ
(Talisman Ffate x J McGee's Sid/Seth ISDS 309966) ABCA 439089

OFA Good, Elbows normal
Pawprint DNA panel Clear/Normal
Optimal Select Panel Clear/Normal except EAOD Carrier, carries long coat, tri, red and dilute
BAER normal

19 1/2"/32ish pounds
Smooth coated dark Grey male. His dam FFire is a dilute red (which was a huge surprise!) It was a surprise that his sire Sid carried dilute as well and rear dewclaws, hence the graphite grey handsome slick-coated boy, that Zinc is. Zinc does not show sound sensitivity or major fears/phobias, and is a go anywhere type of dog.
(Neutered to prevent cancers, etc)

Actively training and competing in agility and disc, he
shows promise on stock. He also has the "Fish" gene that I love in my dogs-loves water. I have done some dock diving with him, but so much else to do!

Zinc is a keen and high drive but sweet boy, who gets along with everyone and likes to curl up on your lap. Eager to learn and easy to motivate, and very biddable. He is a beautiful, natural jumper and strong latent learner. We have so much fun running together, really looking forward to our future together.

2020 has understandably been a lean year for trials, but we have managed to move up to Senior in UKI both in Speedstakes and the International Program, earning our first 12 points first time in Senior at a real life trial (miss those). After 14 years we are also dabbling in limited AKC trials. Zinc and I moved up to the Excellent level, quickly.

PLM Chalk (Taff x Jen)
OFA Good, Shoulders Normal
EOD carrier, clear all other BC recessives Optimal Select panel 38# 20 1/2" tall
Black tri male

A grandson to Anne Mock's Ben, Chalk is an easy going and friendly pup. In a freak accident, Chalk broke his elbow at 15 weeks old, but after orthopedic surgery has healed up fine. The other elbow also suffered trauma, but he shows no signs of it bothering him & runs like the wind. He was started on sheep lightly before the snow flew last winter and then given time to grow up some. Expect he will be fun to work with. Chalk is also known as the Big Puppy, he is so sweet and the perfect boy in so many ways. He idolizes Zinc and gets along with everyone.
Chalk continues to mature and is an easy keeper! He has the most open, low-key and friendly nature. Exposure to livestock continues and we have begun foundation for disc and agility-he LOVES his frisbee and the ball. He is a total water baby and has grown to about 19 1/2-20" tall and 38#, no sound sensitivity or major fears/phobias- he is very biddable and a team player, we are having fun building his learning.

The Girls...

Imp. Glencregg Teg RATN, TKN, TKI
 (Glencregg Becca x Sid/Seth ISDS 309966)
ABCA 430672/ISDS 340725

17 1/2" tall/28 pounds
OFA Good, Pawprint DNA panel normal, BAER Normal as a pup and @3+ years old, CAER normal, Optimal Select Panel
Normal/Clear including EAOD.

Teg arrived from Ireland as a pup. We have primarily focused on sheepwork, but she also has lots of drive and loves to tug, play & learn other sports.

2024: Entered our first Barn Hunt trial after one practice. She's so amazing!! Novice title 3/3 and then bumped up to Open for our 4th entry. Not only did she find her Rats, she won the class and got a "Fastest Find" award. I think, that I and the dogs are hooked on this sport now!

Teg AKA the badass faerie, is a small but mighty little one! Strong on sheep, strong-minded, she is a friendly to all-human & dogs/cats, outgoing, and go anywhere type of dog. Bombs going off may piss her off, but they won't phase her. She has her sire Sid's "go" and moves into pressure, sometimes too much so. There is not much quit in her, unless she thinks something is dumb. Teg is a half-sister to our homebred Zinc and also related to Kestrel through common relatives to her grandmother Becca, who won Irish Nationals 2005 & 2007 and World Trial winner 2011.  Teg competed in her first UpDog disc event and had a blast in Spring '21 Toss N Fetch league. She has Trick titles as well as. Her preferred work is working sheep, goats, ducks and the random cow (working cows scare me)...with continued future plans for trialing on stock. Maybe we will trial, maybe not.

Talisman Loon IND
BID SSB
UKI official measurement 17 1/4"/26# OFA GOOD, ELBOWS & SHOULDERS NORMAL

2024: UKI Novice title
2023: Recently debuted in UKI earning her first Speedstakes title and in UpDog! So much fun with this little girl!!! LuLu is our 4th generation- a Zinc daughter and Kestrel Grand-daughter born in Summer 2020. She has her Papa's sweetness and work ethic and her Grandma Kestrel's incredible ground speed on the fly. Loon is a keen and fast learner, loves training-we are working on lots of foundation both in comp obedience and agility classes, she seems to enjoy everything!

We have been competing in UKI, Loon & I earned her BID recently with 20 pts overall (need 12) 12 pts from 2-1st place Gamblers runs at trials and worked hard for those 8 Regular agility pts with 4@home Open Senior/CH courses. Hopefully, there will be more in person trials we can get to.
She has worked ducks and we plan for sheep, her three sisters are regularly training on stock (sheep, goats & ducks) and showing some nice ability.
We played disc in our first International Toss & Fetch League Summer '21 @ 10 months and this little pup did great at working in a very busy environment and catching lots of frisbees! We ended Fall '21 with 25 point rounds. I kind of love disc these days, so does Loon! We moved up to Masters in Spring 2022 Toss & Fetch and have been in the Canis Magnus Super 8. We have also been playing some UpDog!

Loon was attacked by a strange dog as a pup at a critical developmental stage, so we had to work through that out and about-but luckily she carries no grudges and trusts that I will keep her safe. She is a Lovebug with any human who will let her crawl in their lap, literally melts for certain people. We continue to train in agility and she is doing amazing!  Lots of promise with this little Speckled girl!

Talisman Brilliant RATN
Maven~19" tall approx 34# OFA EXCELLENT, ELBOWS & SHOULDERS NORMAL Optimal Select Clear/Normal for all testable DNA recessives

2024-We have started practicing Barn Hunt, what a FUN sport!! First weekend out after 3 practices, Maven picked up her Novice title 3/3 and an Open Q 1/1. She really is Brilliant!

2023-Recently debuted in UpDog and won ThrowNGo over some very experienced teams(womens division) putting her into the 98%-not bad for our first time! Maven is our 4th generation out of our TLSMN SoBright x MFR Pyro 2020 litter. At just a year she was already showing great promise on stock, turned on at 14 weeks of age. She is Very strong on sheep, so started to play some disc to get inside her head and build a cooperative relationship. She is Brilliant!
At 15 months we tried her first Toss and Fetch league-planning to use it for focus/exposure/building more teamwork in a new place, for the baby dog. Maven blew me away by not only focusing, but doing really well and being in the top 3 for points. Spring 2022 @ 17 months, Maven and I helped our league earn Super 8 points and she eclipsed her older cousin Loon, by becoming my "A" dog. She loves it! Herding and disc are the perfect compliment for working on teamwork out in a big field-so we will focus on both.

Maven Loves water, everyone human and canine that she meets, playing disc and super friendly and outgoing. A bit on the independent side, she is a quick learner and cool headed pup. Working on some agility foundation for fun, will hope to focus on stock work with her.

Talisman Pren TKN

Pren is out of Glencregg Teg x PLM Chalk. Born January 2022, she's still a baby, but intense is her middle name. She turned on to sheep @16 weeks old and we are training on stock. She is equally keen and calm and loves all people! She is a disc fiend with BIG hops, which is being discouraged until she physically matures more. Looking forward to what the future holds with this leggy gazelle.

Retired/Spayed:

Kestrel

ABCA 414463  19.5-20" 34 pounds
OFA Fair, Animal Genetics DNA panel Normal, CAER normal, EAOD carrier
Kes is a Black and white Smooth beauty who is 3/4 sheep lines, 1/4 cowdog lines. Her Sire Tweed imported from Ireland, related to the world famous Becca.
We have trained and competed on sheep and in disc. Her first AHBA trial she earned her first title. First Sheepdog trial, we timed out on the pen but together earned a 4th place.  She is the most loving dog in the house! Loves to be close and drapes herself on your lap, whenever possible, but is not needy. She is EXTREMELY toy motivated and always keen to learn, while being a sensitive girl. She has a natural feel for her sheep and is kind to stock, maybe not a hardass like some would prefer, but I think she is perfect! I think she is part Selkie (mythical seal creature), as water is like her second habitat. (Spayed)

Talisman SoBright, BID, SSB, SSN
ABCA 470403
Bright is the pup we kept out of Talisman Ffate x Trish Dranchak's Surge. She is a force! Sweet, cute, athletic, friendly and pretty sure she knows who she is already. Smart as heck, very eager to learn and train, we have focused on agility and rally/obedience and started foundation for disc-serious hops! She has also shown some interest in stock, other pups from this cross are running at Pro-Novice level so far. A water baby, she is a little bossy, but easy to take anywhere, loves everyone-she is about as perfect of a pup you could ask for! Our plans were slowed down a bit with Covid-19 2020, but the wonderful UKI@home trials have been fun & a great way to work on our teamwork. Debuting at home, Bright easily earned her Beginner International and Beginner and Novice Speedstakes titles. We have also done some USDAA. DNA Normal on all BC things Animal Genetics panel, by parentage. BAER normal, CAER normal, Optimal Select DNA panel Normal/Clear including EAOD, OFA Good, Elbows normal (Spayed)

Talisman Vie
AKA Talisman Happily Ever After
ABCA 485137
Vivi is our keeper from Zinc x Kestrel, she is keen, fast, beautifully built, incredibly affectionate, a natural latent learner and a blast to work with! Working on foundation skills, she is intense about learning and always asking to do more. Agility is coming along and Disc is definitely one of her faves! ViVi has been doing great in her Agility training, a lovely natural jumper like her Papa Zinc-after 2+ years of Covid and no access to classes, feel like we are still catching up. We will get there!
BAER Normal, Pawprint panel DNA normal by parentage, Optimal Select Panel Normal/Clear including EAOD (Spayed)
