Tarot
Tarot is from a long line of beautiful Papillon in Europe. We imported him from Slovakia as a pup, with plans for agility and conformation. Between Covid and recovering from a debilitating accidental play injury, with PT and time he is doing fine. Our training has been on hold-but he is a go anywhere happy little dude, who runs with the Border Collies like a Big Dog. He's a fun little guy to train and teaching me a lot! Loves hiking, the beach, MUD!, his tennis ball and swimming 
He is VwD1, Factor V11, NAD and PAP-PRA1 DNA Normal/Clear, knees and heart are normal. Red sable

Wicca/Queen Lovely Tina
Wicca is a spitfire!! So lucky to have this little opinionated and sweet girl join us from a beautiful line of Papillon from EU. We might hit the show ring (probably not because it's boring), but working on obedience and agility foundation. For a dog who will try to climb trees after a squirrel, Barn Hunt is in our future too. Agility and possibly disc  will be our focus.

This feisty little BCx is a character! So loving, so much fun and so much potential!! She loves disc and agility so far, planning on dabbling in barn hunt also. If I still did flyball, she would be a natural. We started Toss and Fetch League June'24-Microdog girl is surpassing my expectations for her first "public" appearance. 2024 International Toss and Fetch League is also now offering titles. AFD=Advanced Frisbee Dog!! and Canis Magnus/Super 8 her 1st Season!! Go little dog, Go!

Mindset

I started this post two months ago and have been thinking about this A LOT!!!  Mindset: it affects everything we do, including how we train our dogs. How we perceive, regard others and approach life, is our attitude and belief system at work. Do unto others and golden rule and all that, or not.  With a move to a new area, I find myself re-evaluating my core beliefs in many ways, and for the purposes of this blog-in training dogs. In some ways I feel like I have stepped back in time, watching how some people are so harsh and corrective with their dogs, and shock collars-OI!!!! Some of whom were barely born when Clicker Training and R+ became the advent and light for cognitive and kind training for dogs. This reverse mindset has caught me off-guard. I see so much stress and avoidance in some dogs, while the human half seems oblivious. Two steps forward and ten back, for the dogs. We can all do better!
